Alderwood Tree Care is one of the few tree surgeons in the Manchester area to operate the Alpine Magnum Stump Grinder. This versatile piece of kit allows us to access and removal of stumps most other machines can’t.
The Alpine Magnum can be carried by two men through narrow gateways, cramped garages and even through a house if no other access is available. This means that we can reach those stumps tucked up behind sheds, tight against fences and behind other planting that can’t be damaged.
Where access is good and there are lots of stumps or particularly large stumps, then we call in the big grinder. this can make a bit of a mess of the terrain so is only suitable in certain situations, but it can pretty much handle any stump size.
